Q&A:

Who are some of your earliest sources of inspiration?

I am the eldest of 4, and watched my parents grow and exceed the boundaries of their careers starting from a very young age. My father was a general practitioner and formed the largest French union for doctors from all across the country (he now works at an NGO focused on digital healthcare and birth & diseases monitoring in developing regions of Africa), while my mother ran and became elected mayor of the village where I was raised. Together, they collectively instilled in me to always take initiative and never be afraid of the act of trying and failing; if you believe you can generate positive change and transformation — for the world, your friends, for your peers — take the leap!

When did you first know you wanted to grow your career in deeptech?

Beginning as a child, technology and running experiments always fascinated me. I cherish the memories of pretending I was a young chemist in a makeshift white lab coat, recording and twisting sounds, observing insects outdoors, and ultimately looking at the world through a deeply inventive and creative lens.
